Zombie Survival: Kill The Horde
A downloadable game for Windows
Warning: everything is a buggy mess. I am curtly experimenting with a bunch of different mechanics still trying to find the fun in the gameplay. Currently it will keep you entertained for all about 10 mins
[Controls]
wasd-movement
Left Click-Shoot
hold Right Click- Rotate camera
Mouse Wheel-Controls camera zoom
R key to reload
E key hold for weapon wheel and Enter/Exit vehicle
[Weapon Wheel]
I added a weapon wheel because I got sick of having to go back to the starting area to pick up weapons when testing the new weapon skill mechanics! Currently the chainsaw is not in the build, and the shotgun is bugged out right now. I need to finish implementing the scatter shot.
[Weapon Skill]
The weapon skill mechanics are only implemented on the pistol and assault rifle currently. After a certain amount of kills with each weapon you unlock 3 options to choose from on each level to improve either the accuracy, fire rate or damage amount
[Destructible Objects]
I added destructible fences. I plan to add some building mechanics for base building/tower defense type stuff. This will also be useful for doors and other destructible objects
Stay tuned more updates to come!

Was really fun to try this out. I think the ability to zoom the camera between tps and topdown was really cool. Even on my old i3 6100 with a GTX 1060 I have at least 120 fps :)
Oh sick! That make me excited for the future of this game. I am pretty happy with my decision to learn dots in unity
Now that's a lot of zombies!
I feel like this game is in a kind of ASMR state at the moment lol. It's pretty satisfying to kill the indefinitely massive swarm of zombies, especially with the chain gun.
I'm happy to report that the performance worked quite well, though the framerate was a tad bit slow, but that's definitely just my computer's fault. It seems you have an impressive system going here, no problems on my end. Great work!
Thanks for taking the time to try it out!
What framerate were you getting?
Hm I'm not exactly sure, but I know it's slower than in the youtube video you posted. Is there a way to check the fps in the game? This happens literally all the time with my device, bigger games like these will run a little slower than everyone else's lol (doesn't help that my computer barely has any free space).
And tysm for playing Grass Elemental, I'm so glad you enjoyed! Hopefully the Memory puzzle didn't give you too much trouble.
Ya the very bottom on the left hand of the screen is an fps counter. What cpu and gpu do you have?
The fps at the bottom goes between 14 and 20, and everything is running smoothly. I just didn't know if it was supposed to be smoother than how I was playing lol. I have an Intel Core i5-8350U, and UHD Graphics 620 (Surface Pro)
ahhh that makes sense. It does need at least 4 gb of dedicated vram on the gpu
